1. Display:

According to the leaked renderings, the Galaxy XCover 7 will have a 6.6-inch display, slightly bigger than the 6.3-inch screen of the Galaxy XCover Pro. The display resolution is also expected to be lower, at 1080p+ instead of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The phone will have a single selfie camera on the top left corner, and a single rear camera setup on the back, along with a fingerprint scanner and a LED flash. The Galaxy XCover Pro, on the other hand, had a hole-punch selfie camera, a quad rear camera system, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

2. Processor:

The Galaxy XCover 7 will also have a different processor, RAM, and storage than the Galaxy XCover Pro. The new phone will reportedly use the Mediatek dimensity 6100+ chipset, a mid-range processor supporting 5G connectivity. The Galaxy XCover Pro used the Exynos 850 chipset, which is a lower-end processor that only supports 4G. The Galaxy XCover 7 will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the Galaxy XCover Pro will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

4. Features:

The Galaxy XCover 7 will retain some of the features that make the Galaxy XCover series unique, such as the IP68 water and dust resistance, the MIL-STD-810G certification for shock and temperature resistance, and the programmable XCover key that can be customized to launch different apps or functions. The phone will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
